What is corrective instruction and
when is it required?
Smart children – but learning doesn't flow
This does not mean that the child cannot
It means that we simply haven't found the right path for him yet.
Reading is slow, writing is frustrating, and arithmetic is confusing - But that doesn't mean there's anything “wrong” with the child.
Remedial teaching is an educational process that aims
to identify gaps in learning and reduce them in a manner tailoredto the child ,
at his or her own pace and in a way that suits him or her.
It is especially suitable for children in grades 1-6 who feel they have difficulty learning, for example:
-
Have difficulty reading, writing, or reading comprehension
-
Experiencing difficulty with basic arithmetic
-
Getting confused in class and losing confidence
-
Avoiding classes or “disappearing” from learning
-
Know a lot – but fail to express it
Want to understand if this
Is it suitable for your child?
Who is corrective instruction appropriate for?
